When you submit a form on this website — a guidance request, a mentor application or a partnership enquiry — we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, contact information, the area of guidance you are interested in, and whatever you write in your own words.

For confidential conversations you do not need to describe your complete situation up front. Tell us only enough to help us connect you with the right person.

We use your information for one purpose: to respond to you and to match you with a suitable mentor, program or professional referral. Specifically:

• Reading and responding to your enquiry.
• Matching you with a mentor whose experience fits your situation.
• Arranging sessions, online or in person, that you have requested.
• Referring you to a qualified professional when a matter is clinical, legal or financial — with your knowledge.
• Keeping a minimal record of sessions so follow-ups remain coherent.

What you share in a confidential conversation stays within Anubhav Setu. Mentors are trained on confidentiality, boundaries and active listening, and do not discuss your situation outside the small team responsible for your care.

Limited exceptions. Confidentiality has boundaries required by law and by basic safeguarding: if someone is in immediate danger, if a child or vulnerable person is at risk, or where disclosure is legally required, a mentor may need to involve appropriate help. Wherever possible this is discussed with you first.

• We never sell or rent your personal information.
• We never share your story in public material without your explicit written consent.
• We never use your enquiry for marketing unrelated to your request.

With your consent, this site uses privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics) to understand which pages are useful. Analytics cookies are only set after you click “Accept cookies” on the consent banner; declining means no analytics cookies are set at all. Your choice is remembered on your device and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser storage.

Submissions are stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure. Only the small operations team that handles matching and scheduling can read submissions, and every administrative action is logged. Mentor contact details are never published without the mentor’s agreement.

You may ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw from a mentoring arrangement. Write to hello@anubhavsetu.org and we will act on your request promptly.

Anubhav Setu is a guidance and referral service, not an emergency or crisis service, and not a medical, psychological, legal or financial practice. If someone is in immediate danger, please contact local emergency services right away.
