First jobs and early direction
Choosing between offers, evaluating a company beyond the salary, and knowing which first job compounds.
Career guidance India
Anubhav Setu offers experience-based career guidance in India: unhurried conversations with a career mentor who spent thirty or forty years in the working world and has no product to sell you.
Most career advice online is written by people selling a course, a certification or themselves. Career guidance at Anubhav Setu is different: you talk to an experienced mentor — a retired banker, an engineer, a school principal, a founder, a civil servant — who has made and watched the same decision hundreds of times.
We help with the ordinary, difficult things: choosing between two offers, a first job that feels wrong, growth that has stalled for three years, changing industry at 35, returning to work after a caregiving break, or deciding whether to stay in a role that pays well and costs too much.
Nothing is scored or diagnosed. You describe the situation; the mentor asks the questions that reveal what the real decision is; and you leave with options, trade-offs and a sense of what usually happens next.
How it works
What career mentoring covers
Choosing between offers, evaluating a company beyond the salary, and knowing which first job compounds.
What genuinely transfers, what you will have to rebuild, and how long the dip usually lasts.
Why promotions stopped, whether it is the role, the manager or the market — and what to do in each case.
Re-entry after caregiving, illness or relocation, with mentors who have done it themselves.
Reinvention after 45: consulting, teaching, advisory work, or a slower role that still means something.
Reading offers, asking for more, handling a difficult manager, and knowing when to leave.
“Careers are not solved by information. They are solved by judgement — and judgement is borrowed from someone who has already paid for it.”
Tell us the decision you are stuck on and we will match you with a career mentor whose own working life sits closest to it. There is no cost, no upsell and no obligation to follow the advice.
